Actual Media’s president, Todd Latham, is a media entrepreneur with over 22 years of experience in business publishing and communications within the Canadian environment, infrastructure and water sectors.
Todd launched his first magazine title in 1989, back when the first GPS satellite was placed in orbit and the B-52s were tearing up the music charts with “Love Shack.” He has fond memories of Linotype, four-colour film, and glue guns. He has served on many boards and committees over his career—including the Canadian Business Press for ten years—one year as chairman. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Ontario Public Works Association and the Toronto Board of Trade’s Infrastructure Committee. He is a senior associate with the Canadian Urban Institute, a fellow with the Centre for Environment at the University of Toronto, and a co-founder of the Canadian Brownfields Network. He sometimes finds time to guest lecture for the magazine program at Ryerson University and give inspirational talks on his Antarctica adventures to grade-school kids. You can learn more about Todd on his LinkedIn profile, his Facebook page, the WaterAntarctica site or his blog on ReNew Canada.

Lee Scarlett wears a couple of hats as the associate publisher of Water Canada magazine and the sales manager for Actual Media’s growing graphic design and marketing business. Though, oddly enough, Lee is rarely seen wearing hats in public. It’s usually only when he’s doing the outdoorsman thing: fishing and hunting and the like.
Lee has ten years experience in the environment industry and five years in sales management. His formal education includes a degree in Applied Geography from Ryerson University.

Chris Tully, associate publisher of ReNew Canada, adds a wealth of advertising experience to the Actual Media Team. A senior account manager for the National Post for eight years, he launched many new business supplements and garnered three nominations from ad agency planners as “Newspaper Rep of the Year.”
Chris’ challenge is to bring mainstream national advertisers to the Actual Media publications, and to teach us to how to use the fancy coffee maker he brought with him. Great results on the advertisers front, mixed results on the coffee front.
Although lofty, his real goal in life is to Google-search, email and meet every Chris Tully in Canada. He has a lot of work ahead of him. Find Chris on LinkedIn.
