Fifth Annual Canadian Water Summit returning to Toronto in 2014

(Toronto – May 30, 2013) – The Canadian Water Summit – Canada’s largest multi-stakeholder water conference – is returning to Toronto after two years in Calgary, Alberta.  The 5th annual gathering of water professionals, policy makers, and stakeholders will be held at the International Centre on June 18, 2014.

Bridging strategy and policy, science and innovation, the Canadian Water Summit has become an important stop on the annual water sector calendar. For its return to Toronto, the team at Water Canada magazine and parent company Actual Media Inc. have been asked to lead the charge in programming and stakeholder engagement.

“The Canadian Water Summit was built on partnerships and collaboration,” says Anthony Watanabe, founder of the Summit. “And this is why I’m pleased to take our partnership with Water Canada to the next level as they assume a leadership role for CWS 2014.”

“The Water Canada magazine team has been a partner of the Canadian Water Summit since its inception. As a leader of the national discussion on water with our publication, we are well positioned to make the Summit’s 2014 return to Toronto a high-impact and influential event” says Todd Latham, publisher of Water Canada.

The 2014 Summit theme will focus on urban water issues and opportunities.
