ReNew Canada set to host the 2021 Top100 Projects Leadership Form

The ReNew Canada team has released its plan to deliver a 2021 Top100 Projects Leadership Forum on Tuesday, February 16th from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.

The new event takes the place of the annual Top100 Projects Key Players and Owners Dinner, which cannot be held in February as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The annual dinner welcomes close to 300 senior infrastructure industry leaders from across Canada and around the world for a celebration of the work done on the Top100 Projects.

The Top100 Projects Leadership Forum will feature a keynote presentation and three senior discussions on key issues impacting infrastructure development in Canada: private investment in infrastructure, early stage development, and building more pipelines.

“It was important for us to come up with an idea that would still engage the senior infrastructure leaders in our industry,” said Andrew Macklin, editorial director at Actual Media and author of the Top100 Projects report. “The content we will present at the Leadership Forum will be of interest to anyone interested in infrastructure development in Canada, and how the megaproject landscape will look in the years ahead.”

The event will be fully interactive, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers taking part in the panel discussions. There will also be corporate discussion rooms, a virtual way to network with industry colleagues, hosted by the event’s sponsors.

For program details, visit: top100projects.ca/2021-event

Tickets are $149 plus HST, or $995 for a virtual table of eight. Registration is now available at: top100dinner.eventbrite.ca.

The 2021 Top100 Projects report will be released in early January, and will be included in the pages of the January/February edition of ReNew Canada magazine. Click here to receive a subscription to ReNew Canada.

ReNew Canada Celebrates 15 Years in Infrastructure

October 5, 2020 marks the official 15th anniversary of ReNew Canada, the leading source of news and information for the public sector infrastructure industry.

Fifteen years ago, ReNew Canada published and Actual Media CEO Todd Latham introduced the magazine’s first edition to the crowd gathered at a brownfields conference organized by Glenn Miller at the Canadian Urban Institute. Prior to that, Latham had announced the publication during his introduction of the late David Caplan at an Ontario Environment Industry Association event, where Caplan was discussing the new Renew Ontario plan being launched by the provincial government.

In fifteen years, Actual Media has published 90 issues of ReNew Canada, providing expert information on the key issues impacting the development of infrastructure assets across the country. Leaders from across Canada and around the world have found themselves in the pages of the magazine through thought leadership pieces, contributions to roundtable discussions, and in pictures from the hundreds of events covered over the past decade and a half.

To mark the occasion, we’ve produced a short video that reflects on 15 years in the business:  https://youtu.be/B16NY8nE4EE

And don’t forget to download the latest edition of ReNew Canada, the September/October 2020 issue, which includes several special features that look back at what we’ve accomplished, both as a publication and as an industry.
