The team from Water Canada was in Chicago in September to attend WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s annual technical exhibition and conference.
For the 2019 event, the Water Canada team worked in collaboration with the Trade Commissioner Service to provide a presentation on the digital future of water as part of the WEF Global Center programming. Moderated by Water Canada Managing Editor Andrew Macklin, the pane featured industry professionals from across the country, discussing how the use of data, AI and IoT are changing the way water is distributed to the end user.
Joining Macklin on the panel were:
- EMAGIN CEO Thouheed Gaffoor
- Maid Labs Technologies president Benoit Beaudoin
- Aquatic Informatics CEO Ed Quailty
- Real Tech CEO Jodi Glover
International water professionals from around the world attended the discussion, and were able to interact with the speakers following the conversation.
